Combining my skills as a photographer and cinematographer of 30 years with having flown radio control models for 35 years (I was even Australian champion once!), and many hours at the controls of actual helicopters and fixed-wing aircraft, it seems like a perfect recipe for capturing the world from the air!

I hold a CASA RePL and operate under an ReOC, which allows me greater freedom than non-licenced pilots to shoot in more places (including National Parks), closer to people and before and after sunset. This allows a vast range of different subjects to be filmed/photographed using different drones. I own a DJI Inspire 2 with X5s (M43 sensor) shooting 4k with 15mm (wide), 25mm (standard) and 45mm (telephoto) lenses, or can keep it simple with my small Mavic 2 Pro (with 1” sensor) shooting 4k or 24MP images.
