I have been working as a full-time professional photographer since 1990. In 1995 I completed a 3-year course at Canberra Institute of Technology, gaining an Associate Diploma of Arts in Photography, and was selected in the top ten graduating students Australia-wide.

In 2002, after 12 years at a studio in Cooma NSW (my home-town) and having shot over 300 weddings and thousands of portraits, I struck out on my own to create Brad Harris Photography, which has now evolved to become BH Photo. My work philosophy is to enjoy and give each job 100%. I'm aiming to earn a living, not build an empire.

Over many years I’ve shot just about everything: commercial, portraits, corporate, industrial, architecture, cars, performance, editorial... you name it, I've probably done it.

I live on the slopes of Mt Wellington in South Hobart with my wife Lilly and son Marsden. From here I can roll out my front door straight onto the walking and MTB trails crossing the mountain, or walk to a nearby trout creek.
